Introduction

Well here goes my first "Blogger" post... I've never been one for a journal, even when I was younger. I'd buy a diary and then properly discard it weeks later after finding no desire to fill it's waiting pages with my burning secrets and fourth grade crushes. Hah, those were the days.

So to introduce myself I will tell you just what you might want to know.

Age... Almost 17, baby.

I live in a small town in the US that has a population of under 20,000 so that almost automatically labels it as "lame" to the youth, right? I couldn't agree more. We have a movie theater and more bars than you can count. The interesting thing is that for every two bars you discover on a block, you can find a church only a few steps away. It's almost as if the blue-collar American lives off of the idea of paying for his sins...

My highschol career has been a pretty average experience. I don't blend in but I'm not a peacock(sp?) that flaunts my feathers every chance I get. I'm taking a few AP level courses that fill up my busy schedule and hold a job at Subway Resturants.

That's kind of what you would see if you saw me from the outside.

My passions are writing and music. One or the other or even both. Together they are amazing. I'll listen to anything I can get my hands on, besides polka. I had a very traumatizing fainting experience with polka that I don't wish to speak about in real life or over a blog. So don't ask. : P
